In order to use FLET'S Hikari Next, a dedicated optical fiber connected device is required.
Please check and prepare it.
Items Prepared by the Customer
- LAN cable (100BASE-TX cable)

This cable is required in order to connect your computer to the Hikari Denwa home gateway with integrated ONU. - [Without Hikari Denwa contract]
This cable is required in order to connect your computer to the ONU.
- LAN board or LAN card
- Required if your PC is not equipped with a 100BASE-TX interface.
- * A 10BASE-T interface can also be used, but the maximum transmission speed is 10 Mbps.
Items Provided by Your NTT West Installation Technician after Applying
- FLET'S Hikari Next Easy Setup Guide (with CD-ROM)
- A tool to perform the necessary setup in order to use FLET'S Hikari Next.
- * Only 1 startup CD-ROM (1 license) is mailed for a single contract.
- * Only guaranteed to operate on a Japanese language operating system. Be aware that it may not operate on an operating system in languages other than Japanese.

Hikari Denwa Home Gateway with Integrated ONU† (HGW)
For customers with a contract for Hikari Denwa, NTT West lends a Hikari Denwa HGW with integrated ONU (integrated router function) as a rental.

Without Hikari Denwa contract
Optical Network Unit (ONU)
This device is installed in the customer's home and converts the signal from the optical fiber into a 100BASE-TX Ethernet signal. NTT West lends this device as a rental.
