Discount applies to	FLET'S Hikari Next (Family Type, Family High-speed Type, Apartment Type Mini(Fiber optic connection), Apartment High-speed Type Mini FLET'S Hikari Premium (Family Type)
Applicable customers	Users who are applying for a new plan of the FLET’S Hikari Next Family Type/Family High-speed Type/Apartment Type Mini (optical wiring system)/Apartment High-speed Type Mini, or FLET’S Hikari Premium Type (Family Type) for use in a service area in Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Okayama, Hiroshima or Fukuoka Prefecture★ Or, users who started a new FLET’S Hikari Light service contract (Internet connection service) in an eligible area in the past that have since changed to an equivalent level of service* under the FLET’S Hikari Next plan during the campaign period in an eligible area. * Equivalent level of service refers to a change from FLET’S Hikari Light Family Type to FLET’S Hikari Next Family Type/Family High-speed Type, or from FLET’S Hikari Light Apartment Type to FLET’S Hikari Next Apartment Type Mini (optical wiring system)/Apartment High-speed Type Mini.
Application period	Wednesday February 1, 2012 to Thursday May 31, 2012 * The application period may be extended. This discount has been offered continuously since February 1, 2011. For service areas in Gifu, Shiga, Nara and Okayama, this discount was offered starting from October 1st, 2011.
Description	The monthly service charge for the discounted plan type is discounted for up to 2 years (1st month + 23 months) from the start of use. Changing from the FLET’S Hikari Light: Currently applied discount remains in effect for the remaining period starting with the service start date of FLET’S Hikari Light. The monthly service charge after applying this discount is 3,960 yen (4,158 yen with tax) for the first year and 4,210 yen (4,420.5 yen with tax) for the second year. (The monthly service charge includes the monthly line service charge, line terminal equipment service charge and indoor wiring service charge. See the ‘Discount Rate Table’ below for the breakdown.) * This discount does not apply to internal wiring usage charges. * See Special Notes below for other conditions in which this discount does not apply.

*: This discount does not apply to changes in service (for example: changing from B FLET'S to FLET’S Hikari Next). However, the discount is applied if the change is completed before the 24th month from the initial month of service of FLET’S Hikari Light, provided the change is in an area eligible for the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount and the change is from FLET’S Hikari Light to a FLET’S Hikari Next plan that is eligible for the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount. In this case, the monthly usage charge based on the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount goes into effect from the day the change is completed, where the initial month is set to the service start month of the FLET’S Hikari Light plan.

Special Notes

FLET'S Hikari, FLET’S Hikari Light, FLET’S Hikari Next, FLET'S Hikari Premium, and B FLET'S are all Internet connection services. Usage charge and a contract with an ISP that supports these services is needed to use the Internet. Various conditions apply to the service areas and service contents.
This discount does not apply to changes in service (for example: changing from B FLET'S to FLET’S Hikari Next, or from FLET’S Hikari Next Family Type to FLET’S Hikari Next Famly High-Speed Type). However, the discount is applied if the change is completed before the 24th month from the initial month of service of FLET’S Hikari Light, provided the change is in an area eligible for the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount and the change is from FLET’S Hikari Light to a FLET’S Hikari Next plan that is eligible for the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount. In this case, the monthly usage charge based on the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount goes into effect from the day the change is completed, where the initial month is set to the service start month of the FLET’S Hikari Light plan.
Users who have received the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount in the past who terminate their FLET’S Hikari service agreement and reapply for it for the same installation location less than 1 year since the previous termination of a FLET's contract, or who have received the Hikari Gutto (Significant) Discount 2 or more times, are not eligible for the discount.
The startup costs required for the FLET’S Hikari plan are a separate service agreement fee of 840 yen (with tax) and a charge for the installation work.
During the duration of this discount, the FLET'S Zutto (Continuous) Discount (based on years of continued usage) shall not apply. However, the discounted period qualifies as continued usage for the FLET'S Zutto (Continuous) Discount.
While this discount is in effect the FLET’S @Discount does not also apply.
Special school discounts are outside the scope of this discount.
