Monthly Charges

Hikari Denwa offers four basic monthly billing plans, including Hikari Denwa A (Ace).

FLET'S Hikari Family Type: 5,670 yen (tax inclusive)

*1: Usage charges for Hikari Denwa and the six additional services (1,071 yen tax inclusive) shall be prorated over the number of days of use if the start or termination of the "Hikari Denwa A (Ace)" service results in less than one month of usage. The basic monthly charge for Hikari Denwa (Basic Plan) shall be prorated over the number of days of use if the start or termination of the service results in less than one month of usage. Basic monthly charges shall be prorated according to the basic monthly charges for the "Basic Plan" equivalent of 525 yen (tax inclusive) over the days of use if the termination of the "Motto Anshin Plan" and "Anshin Plan" results in less than one month of usage.

*2: The calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge only applies to calls to NTT East and NTT West regular subscriber lines, INS Net, and Hikari Denwa (excludes Data Connect) service subscribers. Calls to international phones, cellular phones, PHS handsets, other operators' landlines, other operators' IP phones, Navi Dial service, etc., are not included and are not free. The calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge is calculated at 8.4 yen/ 3 min (tax inclusive) for voice-only calls, and 15.75 yen/3 min (tax inclusive) for Video Phone calls (excluding calls to cellular phones). The calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge is applied from the first of the month following the service start date. Non-call charges for the starting month of service shall be prorated for the total of 1,071 yen (tax inclusive).
*3: Calls in excess of the calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge shall be charged at the rate of 8.4 yen/ 3 min (tax inclusive) for voice-only calls, and 15.75 yen/3 min (tax inclusive) for Video Phone calls (excluding calls to cellular phones).
*4: Calls in excess of the calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge shall be charged at the rate of 7.56 yen/ 3 min (tax inclusive) for voice-only calls, and 14.175 yen/3 min (tax inclusive) for Video Phone calls (excluding calls to cellular phones).
*5: The calling allowance carryover period lasts one month. Any unused portion of the carryover amount will become void the following month. Any calling allowance carried over from the previous month shall be applied to charges for applicable calls during the current month before any other credits are applied. Customer forfeits any remaining calling allowance carryover if he/she changes the billing plan or cancels the telephone line.
*6: Calling allowance included in the basic monthly charge of the "Motto Anshin Plan" and the "Anshin Plan" does not carryover to the following month.
*7: When using the additional services provided with "Hikari Denwa A (Ace)" or when using a "Data Connect" connection, customers may experience some functional restrictions with, or may not be able to use, such services or additional services.

Hikari Denwa additional services

*: “FLET‘S Hikari Premium (Family Type)” includes the “FLET’S Hikari My Town (Family Type)” service, which is offered in certain areas where “FLET‘S Hikari Premium” is not available. “FLET’S Hikari My Town (Family Type)” is not offered with “Hikari Denwa A (Ace)”.

In addition to the charges above, there is a universal service charge of 5yen (5.25 yen tax inclusive) for each phone number when using "Hikari Denwa".
As of July 1, 2012, this universal service charge will become 3.15 yen (tax inclusive) per month.

*1: Only one Hikari Denwa device will be lent per Hikari Denwa contract.
*2: A maximum of 4 wireless LAN cards (for client devices) will be lent.
*3: In addition to the Hikari Denwa device usage charges, line terminal equipment usage charges for FLET‘S Hikari are also required. See the FLET’S Hikari Next Charges for details.
*4: The wireless LAN standard for FLET’S Hikari Next or FLET’S Hikari Light will be compatible with either IEEE802.11b/11g/11n or IEEE802.11a/11b/11g, depending on the type of Hikari Denwa device in use. Users currently using terminal equipment (with wireless LAN support) for the IEEE802.11a/11b/11g standard who wish to use the IEEE802.11b/11g/11n standard must rent a format adapter in addition to their current rental wireless LAN card. (The rental charge for the adapter will be included in the wireless LAN card usage charge.) Users who wish to replace their current terminal equipment (with wireless LAN support) with Hikari Denwa device that supports a different wireless LAN standard may be required to pay an installation charge. *5: The wireless LAN card (for client devices) provided with the FLET'S Hikari Premium or B FLET'S plans is only compatible with the IEEE802.11a/11b/11g wireless LAN standard.
†: "Wireless LAN type" indicates a setup consisting of a Hikari Denwa device plus a single wireless LAN card (for base station).

The sum total of each service including consumption tax is shown on this website, but for customers with contracts for multiple services, the amount calculated and the amount actually billed may differ. The total billed amount is rounded down to the nearest yen.
