“FLET’S Hikari Next Mansion Super High Speed Hayabusa Type” is a service provided for customers who live in apartment buildings and multi-building complexes. It is a type where one optical fiber cable provides service to multiple customers.

[When using the Family Super High Speed Type Hayabusa /Mansion Super High Speed Type]

  • Maximum speeds of approx. 1Gbps is a value based on technical specifications and it does not necessarily represent actual usage speeds.
  • Network speeds during use may be a few Mbps, depending on the network environment/usage status.
  • Maximum network download speed is around 1Gbps with FLET’S Hikari Next Family High Speed Type/Mansion High Speed Type when using the IPv6 protocol at the same time.

[About all FLET’S Next Types]

  • Even if switched to a higher-speed type, actual speeds may not improve due to devices and LAN cables, and other factors such as network environment.
  • Even if the service is provided in your area, you may have to wait or you may be unable to use the service, depending on the availability of equipment.
  • Please contact us about where service areas are offered.
  • It may be possible to request new wiring to be put in, depending on the wiring in your building.
  • Please prepare necessary equipment to connect your computer or device to the internet, such as LAN cables and LAN cards (NIC).

  • FLET’S Hikari Next Mansion Super High Speed Type Hayabusa/High Speed Type” and “FLET’S Hikari Light Mansion Type” are only provided using fiber-optic cables.
  • Our company shall not be responsible for malfunctions or damages, etc., to computers (including the hardware and software of the computer, and the hardware and software of devices with which the computer is connected) caused during or as a result of the installation of any software necessary to use this service, however this shall not apply to causes arising from our gross negligence.
  • As your user ID and access keys are personal information, please use caution when managing them. [Connecting to Internet Protocol V6 using IP over Ethernet (IPv6 PPPoE)]

  • Information appliances (including computers, etc.) and websites you access, etc., must support IPv6.
  • It is necessary to apply separately for the “FLET’S v6 Option”. (Japanese version only)
  • Maximum download speed is approx. 1Gbps with FLET’S Hikari Next Family High Speed Type/Mansion High Speed Type when using the IPv6 protocol at the same time.
  • It may be necessary to provide your User ID and access key when applying, depending on the provider.
  • Multiple providers offering IPoE services cannot be used at the same time.
  • When applying for the internet (IPv6 IPoE), some services and communication devices may not work for about maximum 1 hour. In case the connection does not work properly after the completion of the installation work, it is necessary to reboot your PC or other communication devices.
  • When using the internet (IPv6 IPoE), you will not be able to access the settings screen for the home gateway using <http//ntt.ssetup/>. If this occurs, please access it via your home gateway's IP address (factory settings: <http://192.168.1.1>).

About the FLET’S Number Notification Function
  • The FLET’S Number Notification Function notifies the user ID※ to the provider when connecting using a line authentication service (a device setting service offered by FLET’S VPN Gate and providers, etc.)
    • FLET’S Number is a specific “customer ID (CAF+10 digits)” associated with a line, written in the service activation notice.
  • Initial settings are registered on "notify“.
  • It is necessary to apply to NTT West in order to change settings to "notify/do not notify". Please confirm with NTT West which could cost you ¥2,000 for installation depending on the changes.
About Network Environment
  • To achieve network speeds of 100Mbps or more using Business Type, Super High Speed Hayabusa Type, or High Speed Type, it is necessary to create an environment with equipment (1000BASE-T interface LAN cables and computer ports, etc.) that handle 1Gbps data transfer speeds. While it is possible to use with 100BASE-T X or 10BASE-T interfaces, the maximum speed will be limited to 100Mbps or 10Mbps, we recommend an environment of 1000BASE-T interface.
    Furthermore, it is possible to use 10BASE-T setups with the Family Type or Mansion Type, but as the network speed will be limited to 10Mbps, we recommend using an environment with a 100BASE-TX interface.
  • It may not be possible to use services using IPv6 if you have connected an optical network unit (ONU) to a broadband router (hereby referred to as BBR) (except Homegateways with Hikari telephone function) and the BBR is not in IPv6 bridge mode.
    FLET’S Plus, FLET’S v6 App, and FLET’S Office Wide cannot be used with this service.
    A commercial power supply (AC100V) is necessary for installation of the optical network unit (ONU). The optical network unit can only be installed indoors.

  • These features cannot be guaranteed to detect or eliminate all computer viruses and spyware, prevent all phishing, prevent unauthorized third-party access, restrict browsing of the Home Page, prevent the transmission of personal information, or detect all scam/spam e-mails, and our company cannot accept any responsibility when damages occur as a result of providing them.
  • The spyware search may treat non-harmful applications and files as spyware in some cases.
