Example) You newly apply for both “FLET’S Hikari” service, which is applicable to “Hikari Hajime Wari,” and “Hikari Hajime Wari” discount (when the discount is applied from the 1st of the month).

- This discount refers to your monthly charges which any other discount services are not applied.
[Important notes for users of “with FLET’S” series]
- For users of “with FLET’S” series, the discount may start from the 1st of the following month of your application or the 1st of 2 months after your application. It depends on your ISP.
- The contract type and payment method may need to be changed with your ISP. Depending on your ISP, changing them may affect your earned points at company’s points program. Please contact your ISP for details.
- Depending on your ISP, the billing month for usage charge may change according to the discount application. With the change of the billing month, if the usage charge (monthly charges before and after the discount is applied) is different for approx. 1 to 3 months, they may be billed in the same month.

Contract fee and installation fee are separately required for the new application for “FLET’S Hikari.” Installation fee is separately required for changing services to the discount applicable “FLET’S Hikari.”
Discount period
The initial discount (1st and 2nd year discount) period is from the 1st month＊1 to the last day of the 24th month.＊2 The 1st month is the month when the discount started.
After that, the third-year onward discounted rate will be applied, and the discount period will be auto-renewed every 2 years.
- If you change the inapplicable “FLET’S Hikari” to the applicable “FLET’S Hikari” and apply for the discount, the 1st month of the discount period is back to the month when you started using your previous “FLET’S Hikari” before the change. In addition, if the service is "Hikari Denwa Next," the usage period and discount application period will not be carried over.
- If a customer, who is already a user of “FLET’S Hikari” and has less than 24 months use period, applies for “Hikari Hajime Wari,” the initial discount period starts from the month when the customer started using “FLET’S Hikari” (The initial discount period may fall to less than 2 years).
For instance, if the use period of “FLET’S Hikari” before “Hikari Hajime Wari” is 20 months, the initial discount period is for 4 months.
